KEITH PYPER
MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Keith has been involved in Musical Theatre from a very young age assisting his father, Wilfie Pyper, in many of his musical productions. Music has always been important to him, and he has led choirs around Northern Ireland for over 20 years. Being part of the school’s Chamber Choir allowed him the opportunities to sing in some magnificent surroundings such as Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, and Windsor Castle. Here, he learned a great deal of excellent choral training from some of the best Choirmasters in the UK.
Keith is no stranger to being on stage, having performed with various theatre groups across Northern Ireland. However, his true passion is being a Musical Director. Keith is head of music at the Avenue Arts Academy and is also the MD for Fusion Musical Theatre Company. Keith has recently formed an alcohol and drug rehabilitation choir for the charity Ascert as well as setting up his own business, Dalgety Voice Academy.

GEOFFREY CHERRY MBE
PIANIST
Geoffrey studied music at the Ulster College of Music, Belfast and Stranmillis University College. He has acted as Musical Director for a number of local societies but his heart lies with Garvey where he first appeared on stage at the age of eight!
Since then he has played a number of roles ‘treading the boards’ but now much prefers his seat in the pit! He has been the Musical Director for the company’s annual pantomime for as long as he can remember and thirty two years ago, this summer, he started Lisnagarvey Youth Society as a cross-community youth theatre; some of those first cast members are active in the company tonight!
Geoffrey is currently Director of Music in his church and accompanist for the highly acclaimed trio, The Leading Ladies.
By day he is Principal of Pond Park Primary School and he was awarded an MBE for his services to education.
He’s married to Joanne and proud dad to Thomas and Sarah.
