Troy

Theo, 12, is delighted to be playing Troy in his first production with Lisnagarvey Youth Society. Formerly a pupil at Pond Park Primary School, Theo is going into Year 9 at Friends’ School Lisburn.

High School Musical has given Theo the perfect opportunity to combine his love of basketball with his passion for musical theatre. He trains weekly with Active Dansa, The Musician Academy, BSPA and Phoenix Basketball Club.

Theo loves performing, and some of his favourite roles to date include Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Aladdin in Aladdin, Vlad in Anastasia, Trunchbull in Matilda, Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Kurt Von Trapp in The Sound of Music.

Theo is very grateful for the opportunity to play Troy and is excited to take to the stage with LYS for the first time!

Holly Mountstephens

Gabriella

Holly, 15, has been passionate about performing from a young age, joining Belfast School of Performing Arts (BSPA) when she was just seven. Over the years, she has taken part in many of their annual and summer productions, with favourite roles including Matilda in Matilda Jr. and Jemima in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Her love of singing has also seen her become runner-up in the BBC School Soloist of the Year competition, a finalist in Eurovision Ireland in 2022, and perform as part of the Children in Need Children’s Choir in 2023.

More recently, Holly has loved performing with Lisnagarvey, appearing in Grease in 2024 and playing the much-loved role of Donkey in Shrek the Musical in 2025, for which she received a NODA award nomination in the Comedy category.

Holly is incredibly excited to be playing Gabriella in High School Musical. She has loved the opportunity to play such an iconic character and, most of all, to sing some of the show’s brilliant songs alongside a fantastic cast.

Tullulah Crossey

Tullulah is delighted to be playing Sharpay in her fourth production with Lisnagarvey Youth Society and has enjoyed every minute of being part of the show.

She has loved taking on the role of Sharpay, particularly because she is such an energetic and over-the-top character, giving Tullulah the chance to have lots of fun bringing her to life on stage.

One of Tullulah’s favourite parts of this year’s production has been watching all the scenes come together, as well as making new friends and getting to know more of the cast.

She can’t wait for opening night and hopes everyone enjoys High School Musical as much as she has enjoyed being part of it!

Isaac Pyper

Ryan

Isaac joined Lisnagarvey Youth Society three years ago for their production of Joseph, playing the Passing Goat, and has loved returning to perform with the Society every year since.

Isaac also attended BSPA from the age of three to eleven and now attends The Avenue Arts Academy. Over the years, he has taken part in many productions and training opportunities, most recently playing Willy Wonka in AAA’s summer production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Isaac is very excited to be playing Ryan in Lisnagarvey Youth Society’s production of High School Musical and hopes you enjoy the show!

Hannah Hall

Hannah, 17, has been involved in musical theatre for over 11 years and has developed a real love for performing on stage. This is her fifth show with Lisnagarvey Youth Society, and she has also performed in Lisnagarvey’s annual pantomimes since 2022, as well as appearing in their most recent production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Hannah has performed with a variety of other companies, including Avenue Arts Academy, Fusion Theatre Lisburn and the Grand Opera House Youth Production.

Her most recent roles include Cinderella in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella with Fusion Theatre Lisburn and Dragon in LYS’s production of Shrek the Musical. She has also recently been cast as Sandy in Grease with her school, Victoria College Belfast.

Hannah is delighted to be playing Taylor in High School Musical and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Mason McLoughlin

Mason is in his third year with Lisnagarvey Youth Society and has really enjoyed being part of this year’s production.

Most recently, Mason played Jack in Newsies with The Avenue Arts Academy and also performed in the Grand Opera House Youth Production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this summer.

Mason has loved bringing the character of Chad to life in High School Musical and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Blake Walsh

Blake is 12 years old and drama means everything to him. He loves performing and being on stage.

This is Blake’s second year performing with Lisnagarvey Youth Society. Last year, he had the amazing opportunity to play Lord Farquaad in Shrek and was thrilled to receive the Youth Comedy Performance Award for his role.

This year, Blake is excited to be playing Zeke. With his fun, bubbly personality, Blake thinks Zeke is the perfect character for him and has loved bringing him to life on stage!

Isla Torney

Isla has been involved in drama and musical theatre for over 12 years and has loved performing from a young age. She has appeared in a range of productions including Legally Blonde, Sister Act and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

With Lisnagarvey, Isla has also taken part in summer productions, playing roles including Bird Girl in Seussical and one of the Three Blind Mice in Shrek, as well as performing in various ensemble roles.

At school, Isla has played Rusty in Footloose and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.

Isla is really excited to be playing Martha Cox in High School Musical this year. She has loved bringing such a fun character to life and can’t wait for audiences to see the show!

Ollie J Scott

Ollie is delighted to be playing Coach Bolton in this year’s production of High School Musical. This is his third production with Lisnagarvey Youth Society, having previously appeared in Shrek the Musical and Grease, as well as taking part in many school productions at RBAI.

Ollie has really enjoyed rehearsals, from singing and acting to Simon asking him if he can be a “37-year-old taxi driver”!

He can’t wait to perform at Lagan Valley Island again and is looking forward to seeing the incredible audiences who always give Lisnagarvey Youth such fantastic support!

Olivia is now in her fifth year with Lisnagarvey Operatic and Dramatic Society and has already built up an impressive list of roles. These include Tam in Miss Saigon, Horton and Gertrude in Seussical, Jellylorum in Cats, Scaramouche in We Will Rock You, Rizzo in Grease, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Fiona in Shrek and Deloris in Sister Act.

Most recently, Olivia appeared as Snow White with Real Entertainment, and she will soon be taking to the Grand Opera House stage in The Addams Family.

Olivia is very excited to be part of High School Musical and to be playing Mrs Darbus in this year’s Lisnagarvey Youth production.

Leon Armstrong

Jack

Leon Armstrong is 11 years old and this is his third show with LODS. Last year, he played ‘Peter Pan’ in Shrek, and in 2025, he played ‘Chip’ in Beauty and the Beast.

Leon has loved playing the role of Jack Scott, as he is funny, confident and a bit dramatic! He has had so much fun bringing the character to life. Enjoy the show!

Liberty Part

Kelsi

Liberty is 13 and loves singing, performing and playing the piano.

She has previously performed as the Ugly Duckling in Shrek and as one of the seven friends in Snow White. She is currently working towards her Grade 4 and 5 Musical Theatre singing exams.

Liberty is really excited to be playing Kelsi in High School Musical. She is loving being part of such a fun show and really hopes you enjoy it as much as she does!
